<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system of a power window device capable of ensuring further reliability. <P>SOLUTION: In this security system 10, when an abnormality of glass is detected by a sensor 16, confirmation and determination are further performed in an operation switch part 14 on the basis of a pulse signal (glass position detection signal) from a motor part 12. The confirmation and determination comprise confirming that the glass is located in a prescribed range (e.g., closed position) and then driving the motor part 12 to raise the glass. Since the glass never exceeds the prescribed range when the abnormality signal from the sensor 16 is a false report, the false report can be determined. When the glass is raised over the prescribed range, the glass is laid in, for example, a cracked state, and the true abnormality is determined. When the true abnormality is determined in the confirmation and determination, a determination signal is transmitted to an ECU 18, and the ECU 18 performs a prescribed alarm operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
