<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a desired initialization at a power-on time without altering the configuration of a device main body even when requiring setting values of functiosn different for every destination. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic music device, with respect to the freely alterable functions (the 1st and 2nd columns) in various music information processing such as performance data creation and musical sound signal generation, default information DF (the 5th column) are stored in built-in ROM, and setting information ST (to be selected from the ranges of the 3rd and 4th columns) are stored in a memory card freely attachable and detachable to/from the device. At the power-on time, priority is given to reading the setting information ST of the memory card, and the functions for which the setting information ST are to be obtained are started after initial setting of the corresponding functions based on the setting information. Moreover, when the setting information ST are not pre-stored in the memory card or the memory card is not mounted, the initial setting of the corresponding functions are performed based on the default information DF read from the built-in ROM. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
