<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door latch device capable of being set so as to detour a cable in a door at a required arrangement and route while smoothly transferring an open operation by an operating handle to an open lever by the cable. <P>SOLUTION: An inner cable 56a is led in the required direction in an extended region of the inner cable 56a extending from a connecting section 12c of an open lever 12, and at the same time, the door latch device is equipped with a rotatable pulley 42 with a pulling operation by the inner cable 56a. Accordingly, it can be set so as to detour the cable 56 in the rear side door D at the required arrangement and route.
