PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an easy assembly of a front wheel drive device into a transmission case and the like under a state in which a plurality of gears and hydraulic packs are installed in advance on a transmission shaft. SOLUTION: The device comprises a plurality of input gears 4, 5 to which a power of different speed is transmitted from a rotating shaft of a rear wheel driving system, a hydraulic pack 7 for use in transmitting selectively a rotation of the plurality of input gears 4, 5 to a transmission shaft 6 of a front wheel driving system, the input gears 4, 5 and the hydraulic pack 7 being installed on the transmission shaft 6, a supporting part 9 for axially inserting the transmission shaft 6 having a plurality of input gears 4, 5 and hydraulic pack 7 installed in advance from a case connecting surface 8a of a transmission case 8 that can be divided in a forward or rearward direction, and a supporting member 10 for fitting the transmission shaft 6 supported at the supporting part 9 from its front end and supporting it, the supporting part 9 and the supporting member 10 being installed at the transmission case 8.
