摘要 <p>There are certain limitations inherent to the operating conditions of sliding arc: low percentage of arc-treated gas, requiring multiple-arc systems, hence complex and costly for a better treatment; low electrical performance, arc characteristics, specific power, diameter, temperature depending on the speed of gas sliding, itself dependent upon the gas speed, hence of the flow rate and the time elapsed from the generation of the arc. The invention provides a multiple circulation system of the same gas enabling the characteristics of said arc to be controlled and accessory devices to be used increasing the field of application of the plasma catalyst including: an annular reaction chamber guiding the flux (2), two or more electrodes (3) likewise annular, an adjustable injection nozzle with variable cross-sectional passage (8) whereof the axis is tangential to the reactor; a device for adjusting the compression between the annular reaction chamber (2) and the internal injector chamber (5), a gas discharge device after treatment (6). The gas discharge drives the gas in the reactor in rotation. It is therefore possible to adjust the speed independently of the flow rate, thereby enabling desired characteristics to be imparted to the arc. The invention is mainly applicable for chemical plasma catalyst treatment in particular in systems with a high range of flow rate.</p>
