The door lock has a latch (1,2) and a motorized operating drive (3) which can rotate in 2 directions, followed by a drive transmission (5-11), exerting different torques on the latch in a normal operating mode and an emergency operating mode. The motorized operating drive rotates in the same direction for operation of the drive transmission in both the normal operating mode and the emergency operating mode and is rotated in the reverse direction for switching the drive transmission from the normal operating mode to the emergency operating mode.
