PURPOSE: Provided is a quick dry and moisture absorption fiber with a double-layered structure which has a moisture absorption capacity as well as a high speed drying capacity, and is used to make sports and summer wears. CONSTITUTION: The quick dry and moisture absorption fiber has a double-layered structure where an inner core layer(1) is formed with an absorptive modified cross-section fiber, and an outer skin layer(2) is formed with a hydrophobic polyolefin or polyethylene yarn. The absorptive yarn is a natural fiber with a regain of 8% or more, such as cotton, rayon and wool.
