EC SETTLEMENT SYSTEM USING VOICE TRANSFER OF PORTABLE TERMINAL

PURPOSE: An EC(Electric Commerce) settlement system using the voice transfer of a portable terminal is provided to install no smart card or module for an EC settlement service to the portable terminal by modulating the settlement request data into a voice with a voice modulator in the portable terminal and transmitting the voice to a settlement terminal. CONSTITUTION: The portable terminal(10) modulates the encrypted settlement request data into the voice data and transmits the voice data to the settlement terminal(20). The settlement terminal receives the voice data from the portable terminal, demodulates the voice data into the encrypted settlement request data, and transmits the data to a certification/settlement system(30). The certification/settlement system transmits the settlement approval data or the denial data to the settlement terminal by demodulating the encrypted settlement request data received from the settlement terminal and processing a certification/settlement procedure, and informs the portable terminal of the settlement approval or denial through an SMS(Short Message Service) message.
