<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a sintered ceramic body, by which cracks of a ceramic molded body are eliminated by effectively evaporating an organic solvent to improve formability. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a sintered ceramic body comprises a step for pouring a slurry obtained by adding and blending an organic solvent and an organic based binder with ceramic powder into a porous mold, a step for obtaining a molded product cured by evaporating the organic solvent, a step for demolding the molded product thus obtained from the mold and applying a degreasing treatment to it, and a step for sintering the molded product subjected to the degreasing treatment. The organic solvent has a vaporization index of 150 to 350, the mold has an average opening diameter of 3 to 10 μm and an opening ratio of 10 to 40 area %. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
