PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maneuverability of a driver in a steering input device operable while the driver holds two grips without shifting each other. SOLUTION: An arm 30 is turned around a rotational axis P at a center portion. Grips 32 and 34 are relatively rotatably held on both end portions of the arm 30, and the rotation positions of the grips 32 and 34 are defined by link members 36 and 38, respectively. Grip angleθis set to be equal or greater than 30°and smaller than or equal to 60°, the grip angleθbeing an angle between the grips 32 and 34 and straight lines M and N each is in parallel to the central line S. Consequently, it becomes possible to improve the maneuverability of the grips 32 and 34 of the driver. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
