PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit desired heat exchange capability for a heat exchanger and realize miniaturization even in various types of air conditioning units 8. SOLUTION: The heat exchanger 4 constructed by alternately layering fins 6 bent at the prescribed pitch and flow passage forming members 5 in which refrigerant flows through the inside is disposed in the air conditioning unit 8 through which air flows. The air conditioning unit 8 is constituted so as to have a cross section variable range of which the flow passage cross section area varies at least in the flow direction of the air. The heat exchanger 4 is disposed by being divided for upstream and downstream of the air flow in the cross section variable range of the air conditioning unit 8, and the size is set so that the respective divided positions may mate with the flow passage cross section area at the disposition position.
