PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool having a bit mounting structure having simple and excellent operability for many kinds of bits and capable of easily attaching/detaching the bits and stably storing the bits, or the compact and safety bit mounting structure in the power tool provided with a bit storing part. SOLUTION: Each of screws 16 to join the bit storing part 15 and housings 2a and 2b is provided at corners of a handle 10 and a battery receiving part 13. The single-head bit 17 is made slidably attachable/detachable to the bit storing part 15 from both directions of the shaft of the single-head bit 17. Each of a fitting part 19 for locking oscillation of a peripheral direction and a radial direction of the single-head bit 17 and passing through the battery receiving part 13 in a vertical direction of the shaft of a motor 5 and a plurality of flat plates 22 projectingly provided with stoppers 21 to elastically lock oscillation of an axial direction of the single-head bit 17 is provided.
