PROPORTIONAL PRESSURE REGULATION VALVE FOR REGULATING PRESSURE LEVEL OF HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proportional pressure regulation valve particularly for regulating the pressure level of a hydraulic circuit of an automobile wherein a part of a p/I characteristic curve has an extremely gentle gradient and high pressure/current resolution at a low current value. SOLUTION: This proportional pressure regulation valve 1 for regulating the pressure level of the hydraulic circuit has a tappet push rod 5 as a joint between a control element 13 disposed in the hydraulic circuit and a proportional electromagnet in a case 10; the proportional electromagnet is equipped with a core 2, an armature 3 and a magnetic coil 4; the magnetic coil 4 and the core 2 are fixed to the case 10; and the armature 3 can be axially reciprocated between two end positions by magnetic force. At least a part of armatures 3 and 3" is so disposed as to be moved with respect to an armature rod 6 in response to magnetic flux. Therefore, gaps 11 and 14 are expanded, and/or an additional second gap 8 is generated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
