PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size and thickness over the entire part of an optical device and to improve the operation reliability thereof under the environment of a high temperature and high humidity. SOLUTION: The optical device is provided with a plurality of optical fibers 10, a casing 8 which houses the plurality of the optical fibers 10 and a connector 7 which is disposed at one end of the plurality of the optical fibers 10 and is used to optically connect the respective optical fibers 10 to other optical members.
