PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer apparatus which is capable of transferring a picture by using a picture displaying means and directly appreciating a picture by using the picture displaying means and, moreover, permits the miniaturization, light weight, low power consumption and low cost by using a simple configuration. SOLUTION: In the transfer apparatus, a translucent liquid crystal display device 3 which transmits part of light source light made incident from a back light unit 1 and reflects part of the external light made incident from the transmission side of the light source light of the back light unit 1 is used. The transfer apparatus has a transfer mode of arranging a back light unit 1, a liquid crystal display device 3 and a photosensitive film 4 in series along the propagation direction of the light source light from the back light unit 1 and transferring the picture, and an appreciation mode of reflecting part of the external light and displaying a display picture of the liquid crystal display device 3 as the picture for appreciation.
