PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion variable pressure spraying oil burning appliance having improved burning performance. SOLUTION: A bottomed cylindrical heat chamber 3 is arranged in a blowing cylinder 2 into which combustion air is fed by a burning fan 1, a fuel spray nozzle 5 having a discharge pressure varying means 8 is provided facing an opening 4a provided at the center of a bottom plate 4 of the heat chamber 3, and a swirl vane 4b is provided on the bottom plate 4 of the heat chamber 3 around the opening 4a. The heat chamber 3 is constituted by a front cylinder 3a having a large diameter and a rear cylinder 3b having a small diameter, and an air hole 3c and a frontward air hole 6a are arranged in the side wall of the rear cylinder 3b and in a ring step portion 6 between the front cylinder 3a and the rear cylinder 3b, respectively. Even when air lacking combustion is generated in the state that the amount of combustion is restricted by the discharge pressure varying means 8, burning flames extending to the front cylinder 3a is mixed with frontward combustion air supplied from the frontward air hole 6a and combustion is accelerated near the center of the heat chamber 3 to achieve almost complete combustion with the whole heat chamber 3.
