METHOD FOR CALCULATING REMAINING QUANTITY OF MIMEOGRAPH PAPER ROLL, MIMEOGRAPH PLATE MAKING APPARATUS, AND MIMEOGRAPH PAPER ROLL

A mimeograph plate making apparatus in which a mimeograph paper fed from a mimeograph paper roll is perforated and cut to produce plates having different lengths. The apparatus enables more accurate calculation of the remaining quantity of mimeograph paper. The whole length of the mimeograph paper of an unused mimeograph paper roll is stored in first storage means (70). The length of the plate wrapped on each of printing drums (31) of a plurality of types is stored in a storage section (90) installed in the printing drum (31). Remaining quantity calculating means (65) reads the length of the produced plate from the storage section (90), successively subtracts the read length from the whole length of the mimeograph paper read out of the first storage means (70), and calculates the remaining length of mimeograph paper of the mimeograph paper roll.
