APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING SIMULATION TEST FOR THRUST FORCE OF DRIVING UNIT FOR GIMBAL ENGINE

PURPOSE: An apparatus for performing a simulation test for thrust force of a driving unit for a gimbal engine is provided to precisely test thrust force of the driving unit without using a separate bearing and a dedicated measurement unit. CONSTITUTION: An actuator(10) is used for simulating thrust force of a gimbal engine. In order to precisely simulate engine thrust, a movable sealing member formed between a piston and a cylinder has frictional pressure less than 45psi. An air bellows spring(11) is mounted on an end portion of a thrust feedback load cell(9). The air bellows spring(11) is positioned between the end portion of the thrust feedback load cell(9) and a dual gimbal type thrust vector movement receiving unit(12), which transfers thrust force to a gimbal bearing.
