PURPOSE: Installation structure of a side window for a bus is provided to ventilate efficiently and prevent accidents by opening and shutting the side window or sliding the side window conveniently, and to cut down manufacturing cost by simplifying the process. CONSTITUTION: A side window installation system comprises a window sash(10) having an upper sash(14) inserting a run channel(12) longitudinally, and a lower sash(16) including a runner guide(16a); a lower runner(20) fitted to the runner guide through a lower recessed part(22) longitudinally formed and turned with mounting a cushion rubber(26) along an upper recessed part(24); a glass(30) inserted and fixed to the upper recessed part by inserting the cushion rubber; and an upper runner(40) contracted and expanded by an elastic support unit with fixing the upper part of the glass, and installed by inserting the run channel to the upper sash.
