PURPOSE: A clearance adjusting device of an accelerator cable is provided to adjust the clearance of the accelerator cable automatically and conveniently regardless of the position of a throttle lever by pressing the accelerator pedal without using a hand of a user with modifying the shape of a casing cap. CONSTITUTION: An accelerator cable is composed of a wire(10) connected to a throttle lever of an engine and an accelerator pedal, and a casing(12) protecting the wire movably. A clearance adjusting device(20) of the accelerator cable is installed in the end of the casing, and composed of a casing cap(22) fixed in the end of the casing and tapered for the throttle lever of the engine with narrowing the diameter, a grommet(24) forcibly fitted to the end of the casing cap and combined with the casing cap with friction force larger than the operational force of the wire and a cable bracket combined with the grommet to fix the grommet in the engine.
