<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seal ring made of an injection molding in an appropriate shape for preventing the seal ring from being damaged in assembly using a tapering tool. <P>SOLUTION: A separation end is formed at one portion in a peripheral direction. An annular body 2 whose outer diameter is equal to or less than 20 mm, where a gate 4 is formed, is formed at a position that deviates from the separation end in a peripheral direction nearly by 180° by injection molding. The size of the gate 4 is set to be a range of 2-3% of the outer diameter of the annular body 2, thus preventing damage when assembling a seal ring using the tapering tool and forming the seal ring in an appropriate shape. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
