<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an ink jet recording paper sheet excellent in glossiness and ink absorbency. <P>SOLUTION: An ink receiving layer containing mainly a water-insoluble organic porous body is applied on a smooth mold, adhering the ink receiving layer to a base paper sheet provided with an adhesive layer as necessary. Then, either the ink receiving layer is released from the mold and is moved to the base paper sheet or a smooth base paper sheet is pressed against the ink receiving layer containing mainly the water-insoluble organic porous body formed on the base paper sheet, forming a coating layer having glossiness as necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
