摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve participation rate of sulfur in an electrochemical oxidation-reduction reaction of a positive electrode for a lithium-sulfur battery. <P>SOLUTION: In the positive electrode for the lithium-sulfur battery, a positive electrode active material composed of inorganic sulfur (S<SB>8</SB>), sulfur series compounds and a mixture of these, a conductive agent, a binder, an inorganic additive which is insoluble in an electrolytic solution in which a particle size D (v, 50%) is 5,000nm or less are made to be contained. At this time, the inorganic additive is composed of metal oxide, metal sulfide or a mixture of these, and furthermore metal of the inorganic additive is composed of one or more selected from a group composed of V, Al, Zr and Ti.
