<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell reducing a possibility of fuel leakage and reducing the number of parts, to provide a manufacturing method of the fuel cell and to provide a fuel cell stack. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell 10 comprises a membrane electrode assembly 12, an air electrode housing 16, and a fuel electrode housing 14. A plurality of air vents 64 are formed on the air electrode housing 16. An air reaction chamber is formed on the inside surface the air electrode housing 16, and a metallic electrode layer 66 is formed in the air reaction chamber by metal plating. A fuel supply passage and a fuel reaction chamber are formed on the inside surface of the fuel electrode housing 14. A metallic electrode layer 54 is formed in the fuel reaction chamber by metal plating. A plurality of projections 52 are formed on the metallic electrode layer 54. With the fuel cell 10 assembled, the membrane electrode assembly 12 is held between the projection 52 and the metallic electrode layer 66. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
