<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inverter for performing constant current control by carrying out PWM of each switch in a semiconductor switch circuit provided in the primary winding of a transformer having a secondary winding being connected with a load in which generation of an overcurrent is prevented when a transition is made to a waiting state. <P>SOLUTION: The inverter carries out PWM of each switch in a semiconductor switch circuit and makes a transition to a standby state by interrupting power supply to a control circuit section when an operation/stop signal designates stoppage. A switch drive signal for turning the switch in the semiconductor switch circuit on is turned off simultaneously with transition of the operation/stop signal to stoppage. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
