<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a economical collision object protection device which is economical and capable of retaining a collision object on a vehicle even after absorbing impact and sufficiently ensuring a front visual field from a driver's seat for a driver. <P>SOLUTION: In the collision object protection device 1, a hood bag 2 is developed so as to cover the upper surface of the front part of a vehicle when collision of the vehicle M is forseen. An air taking-in port 2A is formed on the hood bag 2 and the hood bag 2 is developed by making traveling wind flowing-in from the air taking-in port 2A. The protection device is provided with a gate bag 4 developed at a front upper part of the hood bag 2 in an arch shape and receiving the collision object from a front side of the vehicle M at the inside; and a protection net 14 developed at a rear part of the gate bag 4 and receiving the collision object received at the inside of the gate bag 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
