<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity and achieve miniaturization and low power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: For a disc zirconia plate 1 comprising a solid electrolyte plate and a disc sealing ceramic plate 2 with an annular ceramic spacer 3 interposed and disposed oppositely on their circumferences. Sealing glass 4, 5 are formed annularly and sealed tightly between the zirconia plate 1 and the ceramic spacer 3, and in between the sealing ceramic plate 2 and the ceramic spacer 3. An enclosed space formed by the zirconia plate 1, the sealing ceramic plate 2 and the spacer 3 is filled with a metal-to-metal oxide 6 for forming a reference electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
