PHOTOSETTING RESIN COMPOSITION AND ITS USE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosetting resin composition for forming a coating film which develops excellent hardness and heat resistance.

SOLUTION: The photosetting resin composition has a radical hardening function by irradiation with light by incorporating as the essential components: (A) a binder resin having a carboxyl group and/or an ester group; (B) a radical polymerizable monomer; and (C) a photopolymerization initiator. The composition also has a thermosetting function by esterification and/or ester exchange reaction by incorporating as the essential components: (D) an esterification catalyst and/or an ester exchanging catalyst; and (X) a component having two or more hydroxyl groups or one or more hydroxyl groups and one or more radical polymerizable double bonds.
