<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small input device reducing the rate of incorrect operations while increasing dustproofness. <P>SOLUTION: In the input device, an operation member 6 has an operating part 6b and a flange part 6c protruding from the outer periphery of the operating part 6b. The operating part 6b is located in a hole 1a provided in a panel 1 and exposed from the panel 1. The flange part 6c is positioned to oppose the inner surface of the panel 1 while in an abutting relationship or in proximity to the inner surface of the panel 1. When the operating member 6 is operated by sliding it, the flange part 6c is guided by the panel 1 and the operating member 6 slides to allow operation of an input member 8, so as to reduce the rate at which the input member 8 is operated inadvertently. Thus, the input device reduces the rate of incorrect operations, is small, and has good dustproofness for the interior of the panel 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
