<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser arc compound welding head capable of obtaining laser beams to be used for the welding without remotely transmitting laser beams by an optical fiber. <P>SOLUTION: The laser arc compound welding head comprises an arc electrode 12 to perform arc welding, a laser beam source 11 constituted of a large number of laser diodes 11a-11h disposed in a ring shape around the arc electrode 12, and a holed lens 15 which has a hole 15a to allow the arc electrode 12 to be passed therethrough, and is a collective optical system to collect laser beams 13a-13e irradiated from the laser beam source 11 to a weld portion 16. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
