PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue printing for a long time without carrying out maintenance for removing bubbles, and also to eliminate effects of mixture of bubbles at the time of an ink replacement. SOLUTION: A part of the interior of a liquid chamber 21 at an ink supply side of a filter 1 is constituted of a member 6 of a material which selectively passes a gas without passing an ink 11.
