PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a navigation system separatable into a moving part and a fixed part: the number of times to write is limited in the case of using volatile storage medium as a storage device while the moving part is connected to the fixed part and it is impossible to display a plurality of mobile specific data such as a moving passage. SOLUTION: When connected to the moving part 10 and the fixed part 30, specific data of each moving body are acquired from the fixed part 30 and stored in a mobile specific data storing means 18 mounted on the moving part and update timing of data stored in the mobile specific data storing means 18 is determined by an update timing determination means 19. Thus, data update is not frequently executed and lifetime of the storing part can be extended by reducing the number of times to write.
