PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily change an entrance delivery port and upper/lower array pitches of shelves in response to heights of housed vehicles without lowering the strength of a shelf pole. SOLUTION: The parking device has shelves 16 used for loading the vehicles M, a plurality of shelf poles 15 disposed upright for supporting the shelves 16 and composed of H-steel and a shelf placing tool 20 installed to each shelf pole 15. The shelf placing tool 20 has an opening 23 for penetrating the shelf pole 15, a mounting section 25 on which the shelf 16 is mounted, and a pivotal supporting section 26 pivotally supported to the web 15a of the shelf pole 15 under a state that the shelf pole 15 is penetrated into the opening 23. The parking device is constituted so that moment around the periphery of the pivotal supporting section 26 is generated in the shelf placing tool 20 by the working of a load when the load in the vertical direction works to the mounting section 25 under a state that the shelf placing tool 20 is secured to the shelf pole 15.
