PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trap rod device of a door capable of simplifying the mounting work of a knob bar and enabling operation for lowering a trap rod from an ascent position simply. SOLUTION: The trap rod 26 is provided in a guide member 25 of the door to slide in the vertical direction. The knob bar 27 for operation passing through the trap rod 26 in the radial direction is provided. A head 38 whose at least tip side is formed like a substantially spherical face and whose maximum diameter 38a is formed to have a larger diameter than that of a shaft 39 of the knob bar 27 is provided at an end on the opposite side to an operation part 37 of the knob bar 27. A coil spring 28 energizing the knob bar 27 to the head 38 side is fitted between the head 38 of the knob bar 27 and the outer face of the trap rod 26. When the trap rod 26 is raised to the ascent position, the head 38 is engaged with an end on the inner side of an engaging hole 30 having a smaller diameter than that of the maximum diameter 38a formed in the guide member 25 on the tip side from the maximum diameter 38a.
