PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight easily mountable ridge clearance sealing strip unit having a ventilating function capable of preventing the infiltration of rainwater or the like. SOLUTION: A mounting part 3 of the ridge clearance sealing strip unit 1 is allowed to abut on a square bar 14 fixed to a roof top 20, and fixed with a fixing screw 3b. The outer edge of a ridge clearance sealing strip 9 is formed to the uneven shape of a roof tile 13 and sealed with a synthetic resin material to abut on the roof tile 13 without a clearance. A ventilation opening 8b provided at a second folded part 5 permits ventilation inside the ridge clearance sealing strip 9 with outside air to thereby maintain ventilating performance throughout the year. Further, a projecting part 6 between the second folded part 5 and the ridge clearance sealing strip 9 can prevent rainwater or the like getting in from the ventilating opening 8b, from flowing inside the ridge clearance sealing strip 9.
