PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor belt for a cargo sorting machine, and a belt conveyor device in which positional deviation is reliably corrected by the restoring force of a belt itself when the belt is deviated from a regular position, and the maximum rotational angle capable of correcting the positional deviation of the belt is as very large as about 180°which is one half of the circumference of a pulley. SOLUTION: In a conveyor belt 3 for an endless cargo sorting machine stretched between a pair of pulleys 2-2 with rotary shafts disposed parallel to each other with an interval therebetween, a belt portion 3a corresponding to a parallel portion between the pulleys 2-2 is formed of a two-ply structure, and a belt portion 3b abutted on a curved portion 2r of the pulley 2 is formed of one-ply structure.
