PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a landing device of an elevator for a base isolation building provided with a getting on/off passage between a base entrance of a base construction body and a hoistway entrance of a hoistway, and making the getting on/off passage cope with the relative displacement to the direction of opening of the base entrance and the hoistway entrance without any problem in the earthquake. SOLUTION: A hoistway sidewall plate 18 and the like of the getting on/off passage 7 is rotated to a side edge part of the entrance to cope with the displacement of the base entrance and the hoistway entrance, when the base entrance 3 and the hoistway entrance 4 are displaced in the direction of opening. When a hoistway sidewall plate 18 and the like is over-rotated, a clearance is formed with respect to a rotating plate 22 by the rotational displacement against the energizing force of an energizing body 24. Whereby the excess load does not act on related members in over-rotation of the hoistway sidewall plate 18 and the like, and members of the getting on/off passage 7 can cope with the relative displacement of the base entrance and the hoistway entrance. Accordingly, the operation of the elevator can be easily restarted after the earthquake, and the maintenance cost can be reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
