PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for covering a load carrying platform of a motor-lorry, which can be easily spread and stored with a simple configuration and can maintain the backward visibility well. SOLUTION: A guide rail 10 having a main part elongating horizontally in the right and left direction is attached to the neighborhood of the upper portion of the outside of the rear window 102 of a driver's seat. A plurality of sliders 12 are fitted to the guide rail 10 so as to slide in its longitudinal direction only. A plurality of skeleton members 30 are fixed to a raintight sheet 20 for covering cargoes on board at the regular intervals corresponding to a plurality of the sliders 12. One end of the respective skeleton members 30 is fixed to the corresponding slider 12 through an opened portion 11 of the guide rail 10. Thus, when the sliders 12 are located at the main part of the guide rail 10, the skeleton members 30 elongate backward almost horizontally. The guide rail 10 has a U-turn shape curved end portion 10e at which the opened portion 11 faces upwards. When the apparatus is stored, the respective sliders 12 are moved up to the curved end portion 10e and the skeleton members 30 are bound together with the raintight sheet 20. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
