PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of easily forming a handprint or a footprint of a child or a pet, or the like, into a positive model of clay similar to a real object, as a handicraft, which is usually regarded as impossible, by using the clay exclusive for the positive model. SOLUTION: A plastic material for a negative model is made to be like a plate. The negative model 2 is made by pressing the hand or the foot of a person or a pet against the material and it is dried naturally or forcibly. The clay 3 used exclusively for the positive model and containing one or two kinds of glass and plastic microballoons is filled closely in a structural composition of the negative model 2 so as to make the handprint or the footprint, and after removal, it is dried naturally or forcibly.
