PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound insulating/acoustic absorbing curtain keeping a feeling of woven fabrics and having a bending resistance, which prevents development of a crack by thermal strain in a step of cross-linking under heating in its production process. SOLUTION: On the surface of the substrate cloth in the sound insulating/acoustic absorbing curtain is applied a foamed emulsion resin composition, which is obtained by adding 2-6 pts.wt. of ammonium stearate as a foaming regulator, 2-6 pts.wt. of an n-alkyl sulfosuccinate/beef tallow as a crack preventing agent and predetermined amounts of a viscosity regulator and a cross-linking agent to 100 pts.wt. of a solid content of an emulsion resin, followed by mechanical foaming by 2-8 times, and thereafter dispersing 2-10 pts.wt, of at least one of iron red, red lead, barium sulfate, ferric tetroxide and titanium oxide as a high-density filler therein under agitation, and, upon necessity, a foamed emulsion resin composition containing no high-density filler is applied on the surface, and finally the coating layer is subjected to flocking process.
