PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multidirectional switch for preventing simultaneous pressing, as well as improving assembling workability while reducing the required number of part items. SOLUTION: The switch comprises a key top having a plurality of 1st bosses at the outer periphery of a lower surface abutted on a housing; a plurality of 2nd bosses which is placed inside circumference on which a hinge portion to recover the operation of the key top and a plurality of peripheral switches are placed and which is abutted on a lower surface of the key top; and a base on which a central switch and a plurality of peripheral switches placed on the circumference are arranged. In the 1st and the 2nd bosses, when operating prescribed peripheral switches by pressuring a prescribed position on the periphery of the key top, the 1st bosses are not abutted on the housing and the 2nd bosses are abutted on the key top to prevent the operation of the central switch, when operating the peripheral switches by pressuring other than the prescribed position on the periphery of the key top, the 1st bosses are abutted on the housing to prevent malfunctions of the peripheral switches.
