PURPOSE: A plant protective cover designed to be laid on the surface of soil of flowerpot plants, fruit trees, roadside trees or the like is provided. It has effects of preventing drifting of soil, controlling fertilization, improving soil physical properties, inhibiting the growth of weeds and improving the appearance. CONSTITUTION: The plant protective cover comprises; an elastic mesh structure plate containing a space part(2) for storing a controlled-release fertilizer particle(4) and a fast-release fertilizer particle(5); a through-hole(11) for passing a fixing pin(10); and an opening part(12) for passing the stem of plants. The elastic mesh structure plate is prepared by forming a basic mesh structure with coconut fiber, waste cotton, synthetic fiber or natural fiber or a mixture thereof in which they are coated with natural rubber adhesives and making the space part, through-holes and an opening part within the basic mesh structure. |
