<p>The invention relates to a method for the phase calibration of a microwave source. The inventive method comprises the following steps consisting in: closing the calibration circuit, the calibration circuit comprising an injection channel which is connected to a measuring channel by means of the source to be calibrated; injecting a test signal through the source to be calibrated, the test signal being injected at the injection channel; and measuring the phase, phim, of the signal that has passed through the source to be calibrated, the phase of the signal being measured at the measuring channel. The invention is characterised in that: the amplitude, Am, of the signal that has passed through the source to be calibrated is measured, the amplitude of the signal being measured at the measuring channel; the calibration circuit is opened at the source to be calibrated; the test signal is injected at the injection channel; the phase phif and the amplitude Af of the signal present at the measuring channel are measured; the corrected phase value phic is determined, said corrected phase being the phase of a complex number Uc which is calculated from two complex numbers Um and Uf, wherein Um = Am . exp(i .phim) and Uf = Af . exp(i .phif).</p> |
