<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) passage structure when sucking EGR gas from the downstream side of a catalyst convertor 7. <P>SOLUTION: An EGR passage 10 is formed on the side of a case 17 of the catalyst convertor 7 in parallel with an exhaust passage storing a catalyst carrier 15.
