SOLID CATALYST FOR OLEFIN POLYMERIZATION AND METHOD FOR POLYMERIZING OLEFIN BY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid catalyst for olefin polymerization capable of reducing a residual inorganic solid in a polyolefin produced and excellent in polymerization activity. SOLUTION: A precursor is formed in the coexistence of group XIII element compound of a periodic table before formation of the precursor in a step forming a precursor of a porous substance by mixing (F) a mixed solution of an alkylamines represented by the general formula: YNH2(wherein Y is CmH2m+1; m is an even number of 6-16) with water with (G) alkoxysilanes represented by the general formula: (ZO)4-nSiRn(wherein Z and R are each represented by the formula: CxH2x+1and Z and R may be same or different and x is 1-4 and n is 0-3) in a molar ratio (F)/(G) of 0.01-0.3. The solid catalyst for polymerization comprises a contact product obtained by bringing the porous substance obtained by removing alkylamines from the precursor into contact with (B) an aluminoxane or (C) an organoboron compound and (D) a transition metal compound, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
