PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric filter which can adjust the section between its low-frequency attenuation poles to a desired frequency and has a steep filter characteristic. SOLUTION: The dielectric filter is constituted by forming a column of a plurality of through holes 2 for resonator which have internal conductors 4 bonded to their internal surfaces between a couple of counter end surfaces of a dielectric block 1 nearly in a rectangular parallelepiped shape, bonding the ground electrode 3 to four sides of the dielectric block 1 positioned between the couple of counter end surfaces and one counter end surface, and connecting the ground electrode 3 and internal conductors 4 through the one counter end surface. In the dielectric block 1, a through hole 7 for shielding provided with a shield conductor inside is formed between adjacent through holes 2 for resonator in parallel to the through holes 2 for resonator and the shield conductor is electrically connected to the ground electrode 3 on both the end surface sides of the dielectric block 1.
