The valve lever (1) has an inner lever (5) engaging with a gas exchange valve. An outer lever (2) encloses the inner one with its arms (3a, 3b) longitudinally, and is swiveled away from the inner lever when decoupled. The outer lever can rotate on a transverse shaft (14) extending axially above gas exchange valve support through the inner lever.
