IMPROVEMENTS RELATING TO DEVICES FOR WATERING POT PLANTS

A device for watering a plant pot has an outer container (1) and an inner container (2). Slots in an access member (4) at the base of the outer container (1) allows water contained within the outer container (1) to enter the interior of the inner container (2) via a flow control device in the form of a plug (5) of a semi-permeable membrane. This allows a slow but regulated flow of water which can then accumulate in the base of a reservoir tray (6) where, by osmosis, it is transferred by sponge material (7) to the base of a plant pot (8) which rests upon it.
