PREPARATION METHOD OF HIGH SPECIFIC GRAVITY GUM MATERIAL

PURPOSE: A method for preparing a high specific gravity gum material is provided, to replace a high specific gravity material containing toxic and polluting lead in a sinker or a construction field. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of heating 10-25 wt% of a common nontoxic polymer gum material to dissolve it; mixing the dissolved one with tungsten powder; and homogenizing the mixture with cooling by common method. Preferably the tungsten powder is tungsten carbide powder or metallic tungsten powder.
