PURPOSE: Provided is a device for opening a catchcord yarn for a shuttleless loom which correctly opens the catch cord yarn by transmitting the mobile power of a eccentric cam to an opening lever with a simplified structure. CONSTITUTION: The device for opening a catchcord yarn for a shuttleless loom comprises: a fixation shaft fixed to a bracket(200); an eccentric cam(230) and a driving gear(240) rotatably installed at the fixation shaft; a contact-operating roller(260) contacting the outer periphery of the eccentric cam; a connection bracket formed on the bracket; a subsidiary bracket(220) formed on the connection bracket; upper and lower rotation shafts(250,251) rotatably installed at the subsidiary bracket; upper and lower opening levers(255,256) fixed to the one-sided portion of the upper and the lower rotation shafts; upper and lower levers(252,253) fixed to the other-sided portion of the shafts and connected to each other with a belt(259) via a guide roller(212) internally placed at the connection bracket; and a resilient spring(262) fitted to the lower lever and a fixture(204). The contact-operating roller is installed at the one-sided portion of the upper lever such that it contacts the outer periphery of the eccentric cam.
